Government alone cannot solve homelessness. Corporations need to be involved to help bring to scale solutions as well as promote innovation; therefore cross sector collaboration, between government, non-profits, corporations, faith communities, academia and individuals, is key.

In order to engage all stakeholders of each sector there is a need to dispel myths about homelessness and homeless people. Through art and music a collective and empathetic connection is established, and myths are dispelled.

Ultimately it is the diverse sources of input, the use of technology and art, and the belief that systems thinking and cross sector collaboration lie at the heart of the solution for homelessness is what distinguishes Give US Your Poor.
